Te ofrecemos ejemplos de cartas de presentación escritas en inglés, dirigidas a la familia, son solo unos ejemplos. pero te pueden dar una idea o servirte de inspiración, lo más importante y a la vez más sencillo es que dividas la carta en varias partes:

La primera será tu presentación; quien eres, que has estudiado, de dónde vienes, algunos datos sobre tu familia para que puedan hacerse una idea de con quién están hablando.
La segunda parte deberás hacerles saber de tu entusiasmo por vivir tu experiencia , explicando por qué quieres realizar el programa y que objetivos deseas al realizarlo.
En el tercer punto deberías de contarles tu experiencia en un pasado y muy especialmente la que tengas sobre el cuidado de niños, cualquier aptitud relacionada con ellos, como deportes, artes, manualidades, conocimiento de juegos u otras actividades, verás como todo es bien recibido, no te olvides de comentarles tus aptitudes, les encanta oír que eres madura, flexible, que te organizas bien, que eres una persona alegre….en fin el objetivo es que te vean como la persona idónea para realizar el programa.
Una frase que les encanta es que les digas que te gustaría de ser de ayuda para ellos , lo puedes decir así I would like to be an extra pair of hands for you and your family , por qué al final de eso se trata de ser un miembro más de la familia ayudándoles y al mismo tiempo recibiendo de ellos ese cariño y apoyo que te brindarían tus padres en el extranjero, ellos serán tu familia de acogida y deberán comportarse como ello.

It was always a great dream of mine to live and work in a foreign country and I am really exciting that it will become reality soon. I would like to go to Ireland because I think it is a beautiful country with its beautiful lakes and nice “mountains”. I am fascinated by the marvelous landscape and from the nice people living in Ireland. I would like to tell something about me now you something about my family:
My family is a typical Spanish family. There are my parents, my younger brother (he is 17 years old) and me. My mother is a housewife and she is also employed as a cleaner in a doctor’s practice. She is a nice and friendly person and likes to talk with other people (I also like to go out and to talk with other people). My father works as an electrician in a private enterprise and he is the opposite of my mother because he is quiet and just wants to share his free time with his wife. I have a good relationship to my brother and my parents.. Now it is time to talk about my person: I am a creative and ambitious young woman because I have a lot of ideas about my future. I am interested in all kinds of sports and for this reason I want to go to technical college which offers the branch sport-, culture- and event management. In 2017 I worked in an office in my spare time where I got experience in clerical work. I helped to organize some sports events but that was not all. I worked with a team on a big project which included an advertising campaign for post busses. It was hard work but now I am sure that I can say that I am very flexible and independent. Also the work in a little bar near a lake ( I was responsible for the whole service and in the evening also for the desserts) shows my sense of responsibility and reliability. I am a member in an athletic club where I am the coach of a group of children between the ages of 6 and 12, but I trained also older teenagers. The group consists of nearly 25 boys and girls with different characters and interests and it is sometimes difficult to motivate the children. But I like to do this job and it gives me new energy because I really love “my” children. It is important to be punctual because the parents wait for their children. I am cheerful and sensitive for the children’s needs. I started caring for children some years ago. At the beginning I looked after my little cousins and as time went by the adults trusted in me and so I got more and more responsibility. I tried (and I naturally try) hard to do my best. I got my first paid job at the age of 14. I had to look after my little neighbour while his parents and his older brother were on a party. My tasks were to prepare food for him, to take the little boy to bed and then to look after him till 4 o’clock in the morning. My job was not very strenuous because he was a nice and quiet boy and I was proud that the parents trusted me. I was his nanny for many years and I did a good job (they said this). It is not always easy to take care of children but it is a great experience to share some time with them. I have much patience because I trained this skills during my coaching time in the athletic club and during my other baby-sitting jobs. I think it is the wrong way to shout at children. I have the strength to set them limits if necessary and I am consequent. I try to be I try to be polite, creative and humorous. It is a dream of mine to go to Ireland and I can combine it with a wonderful and interesting job: to care for your children. I do not have problems to help in the household. I really love cooking and I like to taste other foods. At home I often cook menus . I learned it in the school where I passed the final exams in service & cooking. Another hobby of mine is reading. I read all kind of books and I like to discuss about them. I am really interested in science and I collect different articles about animals, climate, other countries and scientific texts. I prefer to watch documentations about animals on TV and I try my best to learn something new. One of my best characteristics is my tolerance. Nowadays it is very important to be tolerant because there are so many different countries and traditions. In about a year or two I plan to pursue a masters degree, but I am yet to make up my mind concerning my future area of specialization. So, at the moment, I would like to take some time out of academics to have a different life experience, and to have time to calmly reflect on my future academic/professional orientation. To this end, I think spending a year abroad would be particularly interesting.

My first language is, ……… and I am also have……. in English. I started learning English in primary school, and it was also the language of instruction in the secondary school I attended. I have in addition been taking courses taught in English at university.
I speak an intermediate level of French. I begun learning it in high school and have been taking French language classes at my university for the last four years. All in all, I have learnt French for 8 years.
I am nevertheless aware that learning a language within a classroom context is by itself, incomplete. So, in order to really be at ease in French, I feel that a cultural immersion would do me a lot of good. Through my language teachers, (most of whom are French) I have learnt a lot about France, the French and life in France. Hence my desire to have first hand experience of French life. I am particularly interested in experiencing family life in France, since it offers a cultural context that is undoubtedly different from mine. For this reason, I would very much like to find a nice family to live with and work for in France.

When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. Last year, as part of my university studies in child psychology, I spent a six month internship period working in a children’s home in Arusha. Among others, I provided after-school tuition to children aged between 5 to 10 years. I also organized for them and took part in recreational indoor and outdoor activities: we sang, danced, played games, role played, drew, painted, and narrated stories. We also visited the public library, the local animal park, went out on picnics and a camping trip.

I have helped my parents look after my brother and sister since birth. Although my looking after them is now restricted to my university vacations, as a teenager, I was nevertheless much more involved in caring for them on a daily basis. In addition, my two younger siblings, also spend a lot of time playing with our neighbour’s two children Kibibi and Jozi ( aged 6 and 8 years), so from time to time I find myself in their ever animated company. I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children.

When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to, and reading a good book. I also enjoy painting and on dull or rainy days, I often propose drawing and painting activities to my brother and sister and our neighbour’s children whenever they come for company. Did I already mention that I love to read and write? At my university, I write a monthly article, for the students’ magazine. I also serve as an editorial committee member for the magazine.

As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them for at least 6 months. I would also prefer looking after children aged between 6 months to 10 years. Lastly, although I am quite flexible, I would prefer to have working hours that would allow me to attend day time French language classes.

I would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you: to answer whatever questions you may have about me or my childcare experiences; to learn more about your family; your interests and to know more about what you expect from the au pair arrangement.

Carta de recomendación, ¿qué es y para qué sirve?

Este tipo de carta es un documento el cual es normalmente solicitado por las empresas para realizar las labores de selección de personal, el fin que tiene este tipo de carta es la de dar una información a la parte contratante, la cual pueda complementar a la del curriculum vitae, en el caso de las familias no es exactamente lo mismo , hay que realizarlas de un modo familiar y cercano ya que no son una empresa pero si debemos de hacerles saber que somos la persona idónea, la persona que ellos necesitan para cuidar a sus hijos y convivir con su familia.

En este tipo de cartas de recomendación ,deberemos de hacer una exposición, de manera siempre positiva claro está, de cuáles son los logros obtenidos en nuestra vida primero personal y después una breve descripción de la laboral mencionando los trabajos realizados, deberemos de hacer una exposición clara, de nuestro interés en trabajar con niños y todos y cada uno de las cualidades las cuales queramos que más destaquen para que seamos nosotros los seleccionados por la familia.

Entregar una carta bien redactada de este tipo, siempre nos beneficiará de manera positiva a la hora de optar a ser los escogidos

Como personas que pueden ofrecer referencias de au pairs, se puede pensar por ejemplo en familias de acogida anteriores o . Del mismo modo, un profesor o un antiguo jefe o incluso el actual también pueden ofrecer referencias. Asimismo, también sirve una familia para la que ha trabajado el au pair/cuidadora como canguro.

¿A qué se le da más importancia en una carta de recomendación?

Los aspectos que se deben de tener bastante en cuenta a la hora de hacer una carta de este tipo, es el contenido de la misma y la manera de redactar la carta que hayamos elegido o realizado
¿Cómo redactar una carta de recomendación?

Para redactar una carta de recomendación en condiciones, nos debernos de basar en cuatro puntos fundamentales.

• La identificación nuestra y de la persona que nos recomienda

• El contexto de la carta

• La recomendación por parte de la persona que nos recomienda.

• Cierre y despedida de la carta

 

Por otro lado es indispensable la redacción de los siguientes datos:

• Todos y cada uno de los nombres de las personas que están tomando parte, o sea el de la persona recomendada y la persona que nos está recomendando.

• Un breve resumen de la primera impresión que se va a causar así como de la fecha y el lugar donde nos encontramos.

• Lo más positivo dentro de las labores realizadas por la persona la cual estamos recomendando

• Lo más positivo dentro de las labores humanísticas de la persona la cual estamos recomendando

• Toda la información necesaria de la persona que nos está recomendando y la que debe de firmar la carta al final de esta, como teléfono,email,dirección,etc.

Si hablamos de los aspectos de formalidad de dicha carta, la redacción de la misma nunca se deberá de exceder de una página de extensión ,debiendo de utilizar un tipo de lenguaje más familiar ,teniendo especial cuidado con las faltas ortográficas y las normas de la gramática actuales.

7.-Certificado de Antecedentes Penales

 

¿Qué es y cómo se consigue?

El certificado de antecedentes penales es, básicamente, un documento oficial que recoge la existencia o la no existencia de antecedentes penales.
Para conseguir el certificado de antecedentes penales hay que tener lo que se llama modelo 790, que se puede conseguir en la página web del Ministerio de Justicia o en cualquiera de estas instituciones:

• En las Gerencias Territoriales del Ministerio de Justicia.
• En los Registros Civiles de toda España.
• Si estás en Madrid, en la Oficina Central de Atención al Ciudadano.

Es necesario que el titular del certificado de antecedentes penales sea quien se acredite para solicitarlo, así que si vas de forma presencial a cualquiera de estos sitios tienes que llevar algún tipo de acreditación que sirva, como el DNI o el carnet de conducir.
Hacerlo de forma presencial tiene una ventaja: te lo dan en el acto. Vas, lo pides, acreditas que eres tú y lo tienes. Si lo haces por Internet tendrás que esperar aproximadamente unas dos semanas.

Cuidado, si vas a pedir el certificado de antecedentes penales para otra persona o si otra persona va a pedirlo para ti, además de llevar el DNI o una fotocopia compulsada, hay que llevar un documento de autorización firmado ante notario para que en la administración se aseguren de que el que lo pide está autorizado, valga la redundancia.

Como para casi todo, hay que pagar una tasa para que te lo den. En este caso, para conseguir el certificado de antecedentes penales, se tiene que pagar 3’74€ y se puede hacer de varias maneras.
Si tienes firma electrónica y una cuenta abierta puedes pagar por los servicios electrónicos que ofrece la Agencia Tributaria. Luego tendrás que enviar por correo o llevar en persona el comprobante de pago.
Si lo vas a hacer en persona tendrás que ir a una entidad que colabore con la AT, que son casi todas, y llevar el modelo 790. Allí ya te dirán dónde tienes que firmar para que sea válido, CCE

 

8.-Certificado Médico:

Para todos los programas es necesario un certificado médico confirmando que tienes buena salúd, NO es necesario que sea en modelo oficial , un simple volante del médico será suficiente; Así que preveelo con anterioridad pidiendo cita a tu médico de cabecera y que nos certifique que tienes buena salud, si tienes alguna alergia importante o cualquier tipo de problema médico infórmanos para poder informar en destino.
